Catriona itinago ang pag-iyak sa magulang nang magpaalam na pabalik ng Pinas
PAGKALIPAS ng mahigit isang buwang bakasyon ni 2018 Miss Universe Catriona Gray sa Australia para makapiling ang magulang ay nagpaalam na siya nitong Huwebes para bumalik ng Pilipinas.
Talagang mega ang dalaga dahil wala na namang kasiguraduhan kung kailan niya uli madadalaw ang mga magulang lalo’t hindi pa natatapos ang COVID-19 pandemic bukod pa sa marami siyang commitment dito sa Pilipinas.
Ipinost ng beauty queen ang larawan niyang naka-facemask at nakapikit na ayaw ipakita ang pag-iyak sa magulang.
Ang emosyonal na sabi ni Cat, “What saying goodbye looks like. When I said goodbye to my parents at the airport, underneath my mask I kept smiling.
“Although it trembled. I didn’t want them to see. We hugged saying ‘see you soon.’ But this pandemic makes a once easy thing such an uncertainty when? how? When will we be together again?
“I felt the emotions spilling over but didn’t want them to see, so as I rounded the corner through the passenger terminal finally out of their sight, I let the tears come.
“I contemplated whether or not to post this. But this is something raw and real. I’m so grateful for the time I had with my family. And now it’s back to counting down the days, the sunrises, the sleeps until we’re together again.
“Please never take time with your family or loved ones for granted, so many of us wish to have that reality everyday,” pahayag pa ni Catriona.
Matatandaang simula nang makita niya ang magulang pagkatapos ng kanyang 14-day quarantine sa hotel ay talagang ibinuhos niya ang buong panahon para sa mga ito at talagang panay ang pasyal nila at kain sa labas.
Base sa kanyang Instagram post ay madalas niyang kasama ang mama niyang si Gng. Mita Gray.
Aniya, “Swipe no doubt I am my mother’s daughter. Adventures with mama bear @mitagray in W.A.”
Samantala, ilang araw bago bumalik ng Pilipinas si Catriona ay nag-out of town sila sa isang farm.
Caption ni Cat sa mga larawan nilang mag-anak, “Snapz from the Gray family road-trip adventures through wine country. Morning walks and my forever love: breakfast food.
“Had the best few days on a road trip with mama @mitagray and papa bear that included glamping, hiking and hours of singing along (mostly me) in the car. Over 2000km on the road with my two favorite people.”
May kuha rin ang dalaga na namimitas ng lemon, “I’ve always had a love for gardening. Since I was a little girl, I would love going into the backyard garden and picking the ripe veggies. Even eating them straight from the vine. Since I’ll be heading home to Manila soon.”
Hindi rin niya nakalimutan batiin ang ama noong Linggo, Father’s Day, “Happy Father’s day to my papa! And to all the fathers, lolos and father-figures out there!”
Samantala, tinag ni Catriona ang boyfriend niyang si Sam Milby sa larawang ipinost niya na plano niyang balikan kasama ang aktor.
“Onward and upward! A highlight of my trip: Kalbarri National Park already added the full overnight hike to my future bucketlist.
