Pagbabalik ng halos 300 Chinese vessels sa West Philippine Sea, wake up call sa Pilipinas – Lacson

Napapanahon na para sa sambayanang Pilipino na magkaisa at magkaroon ng iisang paninindigan sa isyu sa West Philippine Sea, ayon kay Senator Panfilo Lacson.

Kasunod ito ng ulat ng National Task Force for West Philippine Sea na may 287 Chinese vessels ang namataan na nagkalat sa paligid ng Kalayaan Islands na sakop ng Palawan.

Sa palagay ng senador kinakailangan na ang parliamentary-to-parliamentary channels para magkaroon ng ‘balance of power’ sa rehiyon.

“We are not really surprised. In a way, we even anticipated the return of the Chinese vessels because the vessels that were in the area earlier were most likely just surveying. Their job was to scout the land and not yet occupy. Ngayon nagbalikan na,” sabi ng senador sa isang panayam.

Binanggit pa nito ang ulat na noong nakaraang Disyembre, pinalapag na ng China ang kanilang pinakamalaking warplane.

Babala ni Lacson kapag nagpatuloy ang debate ng mga matataas na opisyal ng bansa sa isyu ay maaring isang araw ay nakapagpatayo na ng garrison ang China sa Sabina Shoal.

Aniya ang magkakaibang posisyon ng mga opisyal ng bansa sa isyu ng pakikipag-agawan ng teritoryo ng Pilipinas, China ang lubos na nakikinabang.

Muli niyang ipinagdiinan na may mga kaalyadong malalakas na bansa ang Pilipinas na handang tumulong sa atin.
