Vicki Belo hindi kinukunsinti ang mga adik sa retoke; umaming biktima rin ng pambu-bully
SUMUSUMPA ang celebrity doctor na si Vicki Belo na hindi niya tino-tolerate ang tinatawag na “cosmetic surgery addiction” sa kanyang beauty clinic.
Yan ang ipinagdiinan ng misis ni Hayden Kho nang matanong kung ano ang ginagawa niya kung may mga kliyente siya na nagiging adik na sa pagpaparetoke.
Aniya, 100 percent ang suporta niya sa mga taong nagnanais sumailalim sa cosmetic procedures para mas ma-boost pa ang kanilang confidence at self-esteem ngunit kumokontra na siya kapag sobra na ang gustong mangyari ng mga kliyente lalo na’t hindi na ito “beneficial” sa kanila.
Ayon kay Vicki Belo, nag-hire talaga siya ng mgabpsychologist and therapist sa kanyang mga clinic para sa mga naaadik na sa cosmetic surgery.
“Because some of them have been enjoying the praises they reap after a procedure, they tend to ask for more and sometimes what they want done is no longer beneficial for them,” pahayag ni Vicki sa isang Women’s Month event na in-organize ng Bataan Provincial Women’s Commission.
Dito, inamin din ni Vicki na nabiktima rin siya ng pambu-bully noong bata pa siya dahil sa pagiging “fat, ugly, and adopted.” Ito ang naging motivation niya kaya nagpursigi siyang maging cosmetic surgeon.
“I thought then that because I was fat and ugly, my real parents didn’t like me and decided to give me away. So, I had to be become a doctor who could make people beautiful so their parents won’t give them away,” pahayag pa ng misis ni Hayden.
Kakaiba raw talaga ang feeling kapag may mga napapasaya siyang mga tao dahil sa ginagawa nilang procedures, kabilang na nga riyan ang mga kilalang celebrities.
“It really makes me happy when I see how the physical changes in my patients affect them in the most positive way.
“They are able to get opportunities in life that were not even possible before their transformation.
“That’s really priceless and you cannot put a price tag to that. I feel so fulfilled to help change their lives this way,” lahad ng mommy ng celebrity kid na si Scarlet Snow.
