“Being on a tropical island for a long time and then having to come back to a city will not be the smoothest transition.

“Thankfully, I have to stay in quarantine for a couple of weeks before I can ‘go back to the real world’ which will give me enough time to adjust,” pahayag ng aktres.

“Everyone was free to go around whenever and wherever. So instead of resisting and complaining about not having as much freedom as I used to, I’ve decided to use this time in quarantine for self-reflection, detoxification, and integration.

“Celebrating my return home by returning to my true self. I’m finally home, Manila. I am my own home,” aniya pa.

Last March 1, minarkahan nina Maxene at Rob ang first year ng pagtira nila sa Bali na inilarawan niyang “most eye-opening and soul awakening time of my life.”

“Our schedule for the training was March 1 to 24 and during the middle of March, that’s when the lockdown started happening.

“We had the option to fly home or if not, we were going to get stranded here. We figured, because coming here to the teachers training, one of my intentions, one of my goals, was to actually heal myself, my mental condition…

“My intention was to not give in to fear, to just trust the process and to surrender, and that I think was the perfect challenge for me… I felt like I owed it to myself to really stick it out and just trust the process and surrender it to God. So, we decided to stay,” paliwanag ng aktres.

Inamin din niya na noong unang buwan nila roon, “I’ll be honest, I was anxious. I was, like, ‘What happens if I get sick? What happens if I run out of funds?’ So, I was, like, no, I’m going to stick to this and really invest my time, my energy, my money into this healing process and so far, so good, it’s been turning out really well.

“We’ve been extending our visas. Even if nagkaroon na ng flights, my husband and I decided to stay and really give our all into this healing journey of ours,” aniya pa.
