Aniya sa caption, “24/7 ootw (outfit of the week) while taking care of Martin who was at the hospital for COVID-19 complications.

“We are still not sure how he got the virus, maybe from one of our recent hospital visits, or from someone in our bubble who was asymptomatic,” simula niyang pahayag.

Aniya pa, “I’m also writing to share our testimony.

“This was one of the hardest months we’ve ever had, a faith-stretching season that brought us to our knees many times, but God has remained faithful to sustain us and give us peace through it all.

“On the day Martin tested positive, he was reading 2 Chronicles 20 in the Bible.

“’If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.

“’Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.

“’Do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’ These became the verses we held on to as we prayed especially on the most challenging days,” patuloy pa niyang mensahe.

Nagpasalamat din ang OPM artist sa lahat ng nagpakita ng suporta at pagmahahal sa kanilang pamilya, “One night, it was difficult and sometimes painful for him to breathe, and he felt fuzzy and confused from a 9-day fever and dehydration.

“He was feeling scared and we mentioned it to our nurse. She gently tapped him on the shoulder and said, ‘Don’t worry, Sir Martin. God is with you.’

“She didn’t know it, but that moment gave Martin a surge of hope and peace, assured that God had been with us every moment, as He promised. He began to recover soon after, and we were able to go home after a few days,” sabi pa ni Barbie.

Dagdag pa niyang sabi, “One of things that truly made an impact on us were the nurses and doctors who helped our family with such excellence, compassion, and love.

“Thank you, Nurse Rose, Lindon, Micho, Aia, Alen, Darwin, Dra. Villavicencio, Dr. Dennis, Dr. Abad-Santos, Dr. Ng, and all the wonderful nurses and doctors at St. Luke’s, BGC.

“We are grateful to our dear family and friends who prayed with us, supported us, and encouraged us everyday. Love you all so much! We praise God for all He has done, and for making himself known to us even more through this,” mensahe pa niya.

Kung matatandaan, ikinasal sina Barbie at Martin, anak ni dating Sen. Gringo Honasan noong June, 2006. Biniyayaan sila ng dalawang anak — sina  Liam at Stina.
