KUMITA ng P25 milyon ang mga vendor sa Fresh Market On Wheels ng Quezon City government sa loob ng pitong linggo.
Ayon kay Small Business and Cooperatives Development and Promotions Office (SBCDPO) head Mona Celine Yap nakatulong ang Fresh Market On Wheels sa 66 vendors na nawalan ng kabuhayan dahil sa lockdown.
“The program has achieved its primary goal of providing livelihood to displaced vendors whose income was affected by the lockdown,” ani Yap.
Nakalikha rin umano ito ng 289 trabaho sa 109 barangay.
“This program has benefited not just the residents of different barangays but also those people whom we have tapped to make this program running,” dagdag pa ni Yap.
Itinayo ang Fresh Market On Wheels upang maihatid ang mga paninda sa mga komunidad na naka-lockdown.
