12 empleyado ng LTO nagpositibo sa rapid test, transaksyon itinigil

SINUSPINDE ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) ang operasyon ng Central Office nito matapos na magpositibo ang 12 empleyado nito sa coronavirus disease 2019.

Simula alas-12 ng tanghali kanina ay itinigil na ang transaksyon sa Central Office at Quezon City Licensing Office nito.

Tatagal ang tigil-trabaho hanggang sa Biyernes upang mabigyang daan ang disinfection sa lugar. Sa Lunes na muling magsasagawa ng transaksyon sa mga tanggapang nabanggit.

“The health and safety of our employees, as well as those of the public whom we are serving is important. We have suspended operations in order to make sure that the threat of spreading the coronavirus at our offices is contained. We are now conducting disinfection as well as further testing on all of our employees,” ani LTO chief Assistant Secretary Edgar Galvante.

Nagsagawa ng rapid testing sa 100 empleyado ng LTO at 12 sa mga ito ang nagpositibo. Sumasailalim ang mga ito sa confirmatory RT-PCR at hinihintay pa ang resulta.

Ang iba pang empleyado ng LTO sa Central Office at QC Licensing Office ay sasailalim sa rapid testing bukas.
