Mahigit 40K OFWs na-repatriate na dahil sa COVID

UMABOT na sa 40,390 ang bilang ng mga overseas Filipino worker na na-repatriate ng Department of Foreign Affairs.
Ayon sa DFA ang bilang ay mula noong Pebrero dahil sa epekto ng coronavirus disease 2019.
Sa naturang bilang 58 porsyento o 23,714 ang sea-based at 42 porsyento o 17,216 ang land-based.
Ang pinakahuling bilang ng mga na-repatriate kahapon ay galing sa Germany at Saudi Arabia.
“OFs who wish to be repatriated are requested to signify their interest to the nearest Embassies or Consulates General in their area,” saad ng DFA.
