NAPROSESO ng Kamara de Representantes ang 1,630 panukala sa loob 60 session days ng First Regular Session ng Kongreso.
Ayon kay House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez tumugon ang Kamara sa mga kailangang batas ng Malacañang partikular sa paglaban sa coronavirus disease 2019.
“The House of Representatives performed its tasks commendably by answering the challenges and demands of our duties and responsibilities, especially on passing measures that would mitigate the economic impact of the global health crisis,” ani Romualdez.
“As promised, we worked round the clock to ensure the approval of major anti-COVID measures that were filed in the House of Representatives.”
Kabilang sa natapos ang Kamara ang Bayanihan to Heal As One Act (Republic Act 11469) na ipinasa sa isang special session noong Marso.
Tinapos na rin ng Mababang Kapulungan ang P1.3 trilyong Accelerated Recovery and Investments Stimulus for the Economy of the Philippines (ARISE Philippines Act), COVID-19-Related Anti-Discrimination Act (HB 6817), Crushing COVID-19 Act (HB 6865), panukalang pagbibigay ng kapangyarihan sa Pangulo upang ilipat ang simula ng pasukan sa ilalim ng state of emergency o state of calamity (HB 6895), Financial Institutions Strategic Transfer Act (HB 6816), at COVID-19 Unemployment Reduction Economic Stimulus (CURES) Act of 2020 (HB 6709).
Naaprubahan naman sa ikalawang pagbasa ang Better Normal for the Workplace, Communities and Public Spaces Act of 2020 (HB 6864).
“These landmark measures are the contribution of the House of Representatives in the war against the COVID-19. We go on sine die adjournment last Friday, fully satisfied that we have done our work to save our people from joblessness and their families from starvation in this age of pandemic,” ani Romualdez.
Naniniwala si Romualdez na ang mga ginagawang ito ng Kamara ang magpapataas sa rating nito.
Sa survey ng Social Weather Station sa huling quarter ng 2019, nakakuha ang Kamara ng 63 porsyentong public satisfaction rating.
