MANANATILI ang mga checkpoints ng Philippine National Police para mapaniguradong nasusunod ang health guidelines na inilabas ng Department of Transportation sa paglipat ng Metro Manila mula sa modified enhanced community quarantine papunta sa general community quarantine.
“Ayon sa guidelines ng DOTr, magkakaroon ng 50 percent reduction in capacity lalo na sa mga buses.. ‘Yung tricycle po ay isa lamang ang pasahero.” ayon kay Police Brig. Gen. Emmanuel Luis Licup, chief ng PNP Directorate for Operations.
Sa mga quarantine control points mananatili ang PNP para ma-check kung sinusunod nga ba ito ng mga public transport.
Pinapayagan sa ilalim ng GCQ ang limitadong pagbiyahe ng public transportation.
