Discount sa senior citizens tuloy-tuloy

Leifbilly Begas - May 29, 2020 - 03:57 PM

“Kung iyon pong senior citizen [discount] as a privilege ang alam po namin tuloy pa rin po iyon (As for the senior citizens’ discount, as far as we know that privilege remains in effect),” ani Lopez sa pagdinig ng komite ni Valenzuela Rep. Wes Gatchalian.

“I received a request from the HRAP (Hotel & Restaurant Association of the Philippines) way back regarding the senior citizens’ discount and all the other discounts being imposed by the government and maybe it’s about time for us to reconsider if this can be tax deductible for them since they’ve been suffering so much from this COVID situation,” ani Meehan.

It’s a sensitive issue mr. Chairman. It will be easy to say, ‘yes suspend’ but the other sector will [disagree].”
