Pangulong Duterte
INIHAYAG ni Pangulong Duterte ang pagsasailalim ng buong Metro Manila sa general community quarantine (GCQ) epektibo sa Hunyo 1, 2020.
Idinagdag ni Duterte na bukod sa Metro Manila, kasama rin sa GCQ ang Regions II, III, IV-A and Pangasinan at Albay.
Mananatili naman sa GCQ ang Davao City.
“And you know the NCR will now be placed under the general community quarantine or the GCQ starting June 1. Davao City will remain GCO — GCQ rather. And the other areas under GCQ… Paano itong ating Task Force… The regions that would remain under GCQ will be Regions II, III, IV-A and Pangasinan, Albay, ‘yan sila until — until we have reviewed the general situation,” sabi ni Duterte sa kanyang public address.
Samantala, sinabi ni Duterte na magiging modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) naman ang iba pang lugar sa bansa.
“In other areas, it will be again on a piecemeal basis depending on the viability of the place to meet the challenges of COVID. From time to time — from time to time (Presidential Spokesperson) Secretary (Harry) Roque would give us the places where there will be changes,” dagdag ni Duterte.
