MAHIGIT 1,000 empleyado ng Okada Manila ang tatanggalin.
Ito ang sinabi ng pangulo ng Okada Manila na si Takashi Oya sa isang sulat sa kanilang mga empleyado.
“It is a reality that the Company could not escape because of the new normal that lies ahead of us,” saad ng sulat. “Not having any revenues since the lockdown has been financially draining and caused severe losses to the Company, and if this is not addressed will pile up.”
Babaguhin umano ng Okada ang sistema nito na magreresulta sa pagbabawas ng empleyado.
“This extremely difficult decision is not a reflection of the work that its Team Members gave done. Many of you have contributed significantly, dating back to the pre-opening days, and Okada Manila will be forever grateful to your commitment.”
Simula umano sa Hunyo 15 ay ipadadala na ang mga notice sa mga aalisin. Makatatanggap umano ang mga ito ng separation pay alinsunod sa batas.
“For those who will remain, they will continue to build Okada manila’s readiness to the new normal and provide that same Five-Star experience that it is known for.”
