“We will continue to seek justice for the rights violations committed against teacher Ronnel after the arresting officers coerced and publicized an admission without a presence of a lawyer over a social media post,” saad ng pahayag ng ACT.
“It has been a national policy to arrest those who dare point out the lapses, failures and shortcomings of this administration in its handling of this health crisis and consistently weaponizing the law against the people instead of quickly addressing their demands. We will continue to fight the attacks on free speech and the state’s effort to censor the people. We will continue to fight the state’s attacks on the basic human rights amid the COVID-19 pandemic.”
