SAMPUNG frontliners ng Valenzuela City ang nagpositibo sa coronavirus disease 2019.
Ito ang sinabi ni Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian sa kanyang social media post kanina.
“Disturbing news – we found out that 10 members of our Valenzuela frontliners tested positive under our mass testing program,” nai Gatchalian.
Wala umanong sintomas ang mga ito.
“All are asymptomatic. Kung hindi namin sila na test, hindi namin alam na positive sila. There are probably more out there roaming around under the MECQ (Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine).”
Samantala, sinabi naman ni Valenzuela Mayor Rex Gatchalian na hindi dapat mabahala ang kanilang mga residente sa pagtaas ng bilang ng mga positibo sa COVID-19 sa siyudad.
“Valenzuelanos don’t be too alarmed if you see our positive numbers move up. We are now testing kasi our vulnerable sectors – medical and none medical frontline workers, ofw, returning Val. Residents from the provinces…as our medical experts in the city designed it, we are now seeking other potential cases. These are mobile asymptomatic individuals who are high risk in terms of exposure. We are making sure that we contain them in our quarantine facilities especially now that the city is gradually opening. We want to make sure things are all contained,” ani Gatchalian.
