14 tauhan ng QCPD nagpositibo sa COVID-19, HQ isinailalim sa 3-day lockdown

MAGPAPATUPAD ng tatlong araw na lockdown sa headquarters ng Quezon City Police District matapos magpositibo sa coronavirus disease 2019 ang 14 na tauhan nito.

Sa 1,563 tauhan ng Camp Karingal, 219 ang sumailalim sa COVID-19 test.

Lumabas na ang resulta ng pagsusuri sa 115 test at 14 dito ang nagpositibo.

“Towards this end, the QCPD HQ in Camp Karingal, Quezon City was placed under a 3-day lockdown following the initial result of the target group testing conducted therein from April 25-29, 2020,” saad ng pahayag ng QCPD.

Sa 14 na nagpositibo, isa ang miyembro ng Joint Task Force-NCR at ang 13 ay tauhan ng QCPD—siya sa kanila ang Police Commissioned Officers at apat ang Police Non-Commissioned Officers.

Sa mga taga-QCPD, 13 ang nakatalaga sa District headquarters sa Camp Karingal at ang tatlo ay nakatalaga sa QCPD Police Community Precincts.

“Considering the fact that those who tested positive were previously tasked in the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine in Quarantine Control Points, it was deemed necessary to immediately conduct preventive measures and reactionary protocol to ensure that the virus will not thrive and infect more of our frontline workers.”
