IPAGPAPATULOY na ang paggawa sa mga Build, Build, Build project ng gobyerno sa iba’t ibang lugar.
Ayon sa Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar magpapatuloy ang paggawa hindi lamang sa mga lugar sa ilalim ng General Community Quarantine kundi maging sa mga lugar na nasa Enhanced Community Quarantine.
“On areas under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), construction workers accredited by the DPWH will be allowed to work on quarantine and isolation facilities, health facilities, emergency and maintenance works, flood control, and other disaster risk reduction and rehabilitation works,” ani Villar.
“On areas under the General Community Quarantine, private and public construction projects will be allowed to resume following compliance to the construction safety guidelines prescribed for the implementation of infrastructure projects during the COVID-19 Public Health Crisis.”
Ang tanging papayagan lamang umano magtrabaho sa mga proyekto ng gobyerno ay edad 21-59 taong gulang. At kailangan din ay wala itong pre-existing health condition gaya ng immunodeficiency at comorbidities.
“Prior to deployment, construction personnel shall be required to undergo COVID-19 test, as may be prescribed by DOH, and retested as the need arises,” dagdag pa ng kalihim. “The head of the concerned Implementing Office (IO) shall issue construction quarantine pass (QP) to the individual qualified personnel of the concessionaires, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, clearly stating the identification, designation, nature of work, validity and destination.”
Ang mga contractors, subcontractors, concessionaires at suppliers ay dapat magtayo ng welfare facilities at amenities sa mga manggagawa nito.
“Employees shall be housed in their respective quarters for the entire duration of the project covered by the ECQ and GCQ. Otherwise, Prior to Deployment procedures shall be conducted at every instance of re-entry.”
Ang mga empleyado na magkakaroon ng sintomas ng COVID-19 ay kailangan sumailalim sa quarantine o dalhin sa pinakamalapit na COVID-19 treatment facility.
