Manny Pacquiao.
“It was recorded on video that Mr. Parra even involved my good friend and long time partner, Senator Manny Pacquiao, who had nothing to do with the situation,” ani Pineda sa isang pahayag.
“The incident involving Mr. Parra, who was allegedly drunk during that time, should be thoroughly investigated; and if he is found to be guilty of disrespect towards a person in authority, then deportation proceedings should follow, as such behavior cannot be tolerated. We don’t even know if he is staying in the Philippines legally. Does he have an alien employment permit or did he avail of our retirement program? He even berated and shoved his own wife as seen in the video. Who knows if Mr. Parra has been verbally, or perhaps physically abusing people in his household whenever he is under the influence of alcohol,” dagdag pa ni Pineda.
“I fully support the PNP and would like to express my gratitude towards them for their service in the time of national crisis. The rule for us to wear masks outside our house is not only for our safety, but likewise for the public – the people we encounter, especially at this time of public health emergency. The PNP personnel simply gave Mr. Parra’s house helper a warning and told her to wear a mask, but Mr. Parra overreacted. Everyone, please stay at home. Let’s work together in flattening the curve. If you really must step out of your house, please, wear a mask,” saad ni Pineda.
