INANUNSYO ni Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella na maaaring lumawig pa ang enhanced community quarantine dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng bilang na nagpopositibo sa
Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Sa Abril 30 nakatakdang matapos ang ECQ, pero palalawigin ito ng dalawang linggo. At kung hindi pa sapat, ie-extend ito hanggang Mayo 30.
Ayon sa alkalde, kailangan i-extend ang ECQ dahil wala pa rin umanong kasiguruhan ang situwasyon sa siyudad dahil sa patuloy ang pagdami ng nagpopositibo.
“In Manila, they extended for one month. Maybe we can also do that. Until May 30, we can extend up to May 30,” ani Labella.
Pero kung kumonti na ang kaso, idinagdag niya, aalisin niya ang ECQ.
