Ayon kay House committee on ways and means chairman at Albay Rep.
“We need a complete economic team in these difficult times,” ani Salceda. “An appointment with a record for economic crisis management would be an opportunity to send a signal to the public and to the markets that government’s economic response will be robust and strategic.”
“Karl has been my partner in the Comprehensive Tax Reform Program (CTRP). In the 2003 fiscal crisis, Karl was also among the thinkers who helped guide me in designing the reforms that enabled us to be fiscally and economically resilient this past decade,” dagdag pa ng solon.
“The appointment is a signal to the public and to the markets that government’s economic response will be robust and strategic.”
