“It has come to the attention of the Department of Health (DoH) that a hospital based in Metro Manila was allegedly instructed to stop counting COVID-19 deaths. This allegation was originally published in the Instagram post of Mr. Arnold Clavio and several posts and screenshots have been circulating online since.”
“We would like to clarify that DoH has never issued any order to stop the census or reporting of deaths or any case related to COVID-19 to any health facility.”
“We will provide updates as soon as we can.”
“We urge the public to exercise discretion when sharing information, to fact-check and verify first through DoH’s official channels and legitimate sources,” saad ng DoH. “We are committed to providing the public with verified, evidence-based information.”
