P420M ibibigay ng PCSO sa PhilHealth para sa COVID patients
NAKAHANDA na ang P420 milyong pondo ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office na ililipat sa PhilHealth para sa gastusin ng mga na-ospital dahil sa coronavirus disease 2019.
“The agency anticipated the need for emergency response and readied the funds since COVID-19 became a serious threat globally early this year, and the first case in the country was reported,” ayon kay Royina Garma, General Manager ng PCSO.
Kahit sarado ang mga tanggapan ng PCSO sa Luzon, nagbukas ito ng hotline para makahinga pa rin ng tulong ang mga mahihirap na pasyente.

Ang mga humihingi ng tulong ay ire-refer sa Malasakit Centers at sa mga ospital ng gobyerno.
Hanggang sa Abril 16 ay naglaan ng pondo ang PCSO sa Lung Center of the Philippines (P1 milyon/araw), Philippine Children’s Medical Center (P400,000/araw-araw), Philippine Heart Center (P500,000 araw-araw), Philippine General Hospital (P1.5 milyon/araw) Rizal Medical Center (P400,000/araw) at Taguig Pateros District Hospital (P400,000/araw).
