Coney Reyes pinuri sa pagpapalaki kay Vico: I’m very proud of him!

Itinuturing ngayong tunay na superhero si Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto dahil sa ginagawa niyang proactive initiatives sa kanyang constituents sa gitan ng COVID-19 pandemic.
Pinuri ng madlang pipol si Vico dahil sa bilis ng pagkilos ng kanyang team para mapangalagaan ang mga taga-Pasig habang naka-community quarantine ang Metro Manila. At kasabay nga nito ay ang pagpuri rin sa kanyang inang si Coney Reyes.
Sa isang panayam kay Coney sinabi nito na hindi siya nakikialam sa diskarte ng anak bilang public servant pero araw-araw niya itong ipinagdarasal.
“I’m very proud of him. I’m grateful to the Lord for what He has done in him and what He is doing through him now. I just hope that he will fulfill his calling in life, the destiny that God has called him to.
“Ako talaga, wala akong masasabi, prayers lang talaga. I just hope and pray that he always look after the needs of others and he always remain humble because, ‘God opposes the proud, but God gives grace to the humble.’
“I just pray that he will always look to the Lord and trust the Lord because when you look to the Lord and trust the Lord, you ask God the wisdom, He will give you. Lagi kong sinasabi, ‘Lord, please give my son wisdom, discernment,'” aniya pa.
Samantala, dahil nga sa galing ng pamumuno ni Vico ay maraming netizens ang nagsabing lilipat na sila sa Pasig dahil wala raw kwenta ang mga mayor nila.
