Belo nag-donate ng PPE; 13th month ng empleyado ibibigay na
MARAMING humanga kay Dra. Vicki Belo matapos mag-donate ng personal protective equipment (PPE) sa iba’t ibang health centers at hospitals sa bansa para sa pakikipaglaban sa COVID-19.
Bukod dito ay inanunsyo rin na diretso ang suweldo ng mga empleyado ng Belo Medical Group kahit sarado ito ngayon base na rin sa enhanced community quarantine na ipinatutupad ng gobyerno. Nabanggit din ni Belo na iri-release nang mas maaga ang 13th month ng kanyang mga empleyado.
Ito ang caption ni Dra. Belo sa art card na ipinost niya sa Instagram, “Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. BMG stays in solidarity with the government, and the people in our continued fight against the spread of COVID-19. We must, in all ways, go beyond the necessary actions for the betterment of our country. God bless us, and keep us all safe and healthy.”
Ito naman ang official statement nila, “As a response to our President’s call, we are donating all our remaining stocks of PPE’s (Personal protective equipment) in our clinics to various hospitals and health centers in need and will continue to donate what is needed as our remaining shipments arrive.
“We, the Belo Medical Group, is also committing to the following: (A) Extension of our full-pay, full benefits for all our employees despite the work suspension; (B) Early release of employee’s 13th month pay; (C) should the suspension of work last beyond the month of May, a modified ‘No Work with Pay’ scheme to help our employees tide over during these trying times.
“We urge our fellow beauty and wellness centers to do same; donate their stocks to the hospitals and health centers and support their employees by maintaining their salaries and benefits regardless of the work suspension, we need to stand together against a common adversary at this time.
“As for our patients who have urgent concerns, our online, email, and sms channel remain open.”
