NAGDEKLARA si Pangulong Duterte ng enhanced community quarantine sa buong Luzon sa harap ng tumataas na kaso ng coronavirus disease (COVID-19) sa bansa.
Sa isang panayam sa ANC, sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson at Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo na nangangahulugan ito ng ‘absolute lockdown o total lockdown’.
“It means all persons will be subjected to strict home quarantine, no movement and no transporation except only for frontline health workers, authorized government officials, medical or humanitarian reason as well as transport of basic services and necessities,” sabi ni Panelo.
Idinagdag ni Panelo na idedeliber ang pagkain at iba pang pangangailangan sa bahay ng mga lgus.
“There will be heightened presence of unifomed personnel in quarantined areas to ensure compliance. It means we will have to stay at home. Work will be suspended,” ayon pa kay Panelo.
Magkakaroon naman ng skeletal force ang mga tanggapan ng gobyerno.
