Ellen Adarna inatake ng depresyon: 3 taong nasa ‘black hole’

TATLONG taon palang nakipaglaban si Ellen Adarna sa pinagdaanang depression.

Hindi biro ang sinuong na laban ng dating sexy star nitong mga nakaraang buwan at naikuwento nga niya ito sa madlang pipol sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Instagram Stories.

Ayon sa ex-partner ni John Lloyd Cruz, nagpa-check up siya sa isang doktor at niresetahan ng anti-depressants pero hindi raw ito umepekto sa kanya.

Kaya naman nagdesisyon siyang magtungo sa Bali, Indonesia para sumailalim sa two-week mind and wellness retreat kung saan bawal siyang magkaroon ng contact sa outside world.

Narito ang ilang bahagi ng IG Stories ni Ellen, “To everyone asking, i did mental training coz i was stuck in this black hole for almost 3 years.

“My anti depressants didnt do me any good, it made me immobile and numb. i was getting weaker mentally and emotionally—something had to be done.

“I can now finally say, after years of struggling, I am no longer a prisoner in my own mind. Ahhh freedom we meet again.”

Ilang videos din ang ipinost ni Ellen kung saan makikita ang ilang mental at physical exercises na ipinagawa ng kanyang mentor, kabilang na ang “standing tree meditation” kung saan limang oras siyang nakatayo sa isang lugar na binulugan ng chalk.

“Mastering my emotions… hahaha Ano na?! Meditate coz wala na jud choice. Hahahahah push! Its all in the mind. True story.

“My mentor took videos and pics so i can see my progress and achievements and how i dealt with my demons.

“He documented some of the exercises so i can look back be reminded and say i did it. i was isolated for one week no phone no contact with the outside world.

“This is a one on one training. 14 days straight. 14 days vegetarian,” pahayag ni Ellen.

May isa pang video kung saan makikita si Ellen na nakabalot ang buong katawan sa isang cling wrap habang nakahiga sa yoga mat. Maririnig sa video ang kanyang mentor at sinasabing, “Use your imagination. The body is the slave of the mind. The more you imagine, the more your body is working for you.”

Comment ni Ellen, “I was full force panic(k)ing coz I thought i couldnt breathe and i had no way out but to get out of it. So to everyone asking, yes im in bali doing my mental training.”

Ang iba pang ipinagawa kay Ellen ay ang tumalun-talon na parang kangaroo sa isang lugar sa Bali, halos limang kilometro ang natapos niya.

“Had to jump 5km for my sanity. By the 2nd hour i was just in full meditation. Hello sa mga pinoy who saw me,” ani Ellen.

Bukod dito, naggupit din siya ng bermuda grass sa loob ng apat na oras, “Had to cut bermuda grass one by one and arrange them ‘harmoniously.'”

Aniya, malaki ang naitulong ng mga ginawa niyang mental at physical exercise para kumalma ang kanyang isip at katawan.
