NAGPAHATID ng pakikiramay ang Palasyo sa pagpanaw ng ina ni Vice President Leni Robredo na si Salvacion Gerona.
“We wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to Vice President Ma. Leonor ‘Leni’ Robredo for the passing of her beloved mother, Ms. Salvacion Gerona,” sabi ni Presidential Spokesperson at Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo.
Inihayag mismo ni Robredo ang pagyao ng kanyang ina. Pumanaw si Gerona sa edad na 83.
“In this time of bereft, we also offer our thoughts and sympathy to the family, relatives and friends of Ms. Gerona. We understand that Sally, as she was fondly called by her loved ones, was a selfless and dedicated teacher who molded countless of young minds across generations,” ayon na pa kay Panelo.
Hindi naman sinabi ni Robredo kung ano ang ikinamatay ng ina.
“We pray that the perpetual light will shine upon Ms. Gerona, and that her soul, through the mercy of God, may rest in eternal happiness and peace,” dagdag pa ni Panelo.
