Umano’y kaso ng novel coronavirus sa Muntinlupa City ‘fake news’
ITINANGGI ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Muntinlupa City na may kumpirmado nang kaso ng novel coronavirus sa lungsod taliwas sa mga kumalat sa social media.
“Muntinlupa City Health Office [CHO] says that there is no confirmed case of 2019-nCoV in Muntinlupa to date. CHO urges the public to refrain from sharing unverified information on the 2019-nCoV,” sabi ng lokal na pamahalaan sa isang tweet.
“The local government of Muntinlupa also calls on the public to be vigilant, practice proper hygiene, and adopt healthy lifestyles to boost immunity against infections,” dagdag pa nito.
Ginawa ang pahayag sa kaparehong araw matapos sabihin ng Manila Health Department na wala pang kumpirmadong kaso ng virus sa Metropolitan Hospital in Binondo, matapos naman ang mga post ng isang personalidad na na-admit ang isang Chinese dahil sa virus.
Iginiit din ng Department of Health (DOH) na nananatiling ligtas ang bansa sa coronavirus.
