Vlogger kinastigo sa pag-twerk ng Lupang Hinirang

NAGVIRAL sa social media ang pagsasayaw at pagtwerk ng vlogger/inflluencer na si Bretman Rock sa saliw ng National Anthem ng Pilipinas na Lupang Hinirang.

Para sa mga nakapanood sa video, isa itong pambababoy sa pambansang awit ng Pilipinas at labag pa sa batas na ayon sa RA 8491 o Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines na sinasaad na dapat respetuhin ang ng lahat ang National Anthem.

Sa timeline, matagal na palang i-pinost ni Bretman ang video, (Oktubre pa last year) at nag-issue na siya ng apology matapos siyang pagsabihan at suwayin ng ilang concerned followers. Muling kumalat ang video na ito noong Disyembre 31.

Nag-post naman ang National Historical Commission of the Philippines noong January 2 ng isang paalala sa publiko. Although, hindi nila binanggit ang pangalan ni Bretman, ayon sa post, may mga nagpadala sa kanila ng reklamo ukol sa nag-viral na video, sila ay nagbigay babala na pinagbabawal sa batas ang pagtugtog o pagkanta ng Pambansang Awit ‘for mere recreation, amusement, or entertainment purposes’. Ang mga lalabag ay maaaring mag-multa ng P5,000 hanggang P20,000 o makulong ng hindi bababa sa isang taon.
