Maynila sinita ang CEU matapos ma-delay ang suspensyon ng klase
SINITA ng Lungsod ng Maynila ang pamunuan ng Centro Escolar University (CEU) matapos ang kabiguan nito na agad na sumunod sa idineklarang suspensyon ng klase ng lokal na pamahallan.
Sinabi ni Manila Chief Public Information Office Julius Leonen na nakatanggap ang kanyang opisina ng reklamo mula sa mga estudyante na hindi tumalima ang CEU sa direktiba matapos na isama na ang kolehiyo sa suspensyon ng klase dahil sa bagyong Jenny.
“Upon receiving complaints from students on social media, I immediately called Centro Escolar University to confirm the information,” sabi ni Leonen.
Pasado alas-6 ng umaga nang magsuspinde ng pasok ang Maynila bagamat sakop lamang nito ang pre-school hanggang high school.
Alas-9 ng umaga nang magdesisyon na ideklara na ang suspensyon sa lahat ng antas kasama ang kolehiyo.
“When one of their top management officials answered my call, she said they will immediately be complying with the local government’s announcement. That’s 11:00 am, two hours after we announced,” ayon pa kay Leonen.
