AIRPLANE pilots with an average monthly salary of P116,714 emerge as the number one highest paid occupation in the country, a research by the Bureau of Local Employment of the Department of Labor and Employment released a few days ago.

Second are brokers with P89,831; civil engineers with P68,957; actuaries with P60,477; computer programmers with P52,331; systems analysts with P51,069; computer engineers with P49,335; accountants with P47,756; supervisors with P47,101; and statisticians P41, 480.

Feeling bored ka na sa trabaho mo, try mo mag switch in any of these in-demand jobs.

In the next few years, companies will be looking for more business process analyst, data scientist, design engineer, electronic mail and chat support agent, evisceration processor, genomicist, hair transplant technician, mobile app developer, nanotechnologists, order tracker/coordinator, search engine optimization analyst, and transport vehicle service driver.

Evisceration processor is responsible for removing internal organs during meat processing. Genomicist is a researcher who analyzes DNA data with the help of computer.
