This column though isn’t about him anymore kundi tungkol kay Matteo and the days after he passed the orientation program which in his case lasted for more than a month.
Bibilib na sana kami sa Kapamilya actor dahil sa ‘di-birong hirap na dinanas niya, never mind if he got deglamorized at magmukha like the rest of the trainees except for his statement which struck as pro-government rather than pro-country.
Of course, we all know what the army is there for. At ito’y upang depensahan ang bansa under the threat of foreign invasion perhaps, or from any form of civil disturbance or social turmoil.
Ganu’n ba kalawak ang kaalaman ng “matalinong” batang ito, a wide reader on the socio-political goings-on in the country?
Mas kahanga-hanga sanang lumabas si Matteo in the eyes of the disgruntled public had he not mixed a political flavor in it. Para naman daw kasing masyado na siyang sumisipsip sa gobyerno.
Baka rin kasi nakakalimutan ni Matteo that in other countries like South Korea ay compulsory ang umanib sa Army? Who’s this good-looking Korean actor who was left with no choice but to get enlisted at the height pa mandin of his career?
We won’t be surprised if Matteo, sa natitirang barely three years ng kasalukuyang administrasyon, will turn out to be a last-minute appointee.

Showbizified thinks that Cathy Garcia-Molina’s directorial style is one of motivational hyperbole.
Ayon mismo kay Kathryn Bernardo, she had to consider a lot of do’s and don’ts during the shoot of her movie with Alden Richards, isa roon ang pagbabawal sa paggamit ng cellphone to shut her off unnecessary distractions na maaari raw makaapekto in attacking her character.
Papel bilang isang OFW ang ginagampanan ni Kathryn who needs to slip into it like it were her second skin. Kailangan daw maisapuso’t maisaisip ng aktres what it’s like to be working in some foreign soil away from her loved ones.
Direk Cathy seems to be sending us a wrong signal of distrust sa kanyang artista. Si Kathryn pa ba ang mahigpit niyang dapat bantayan gayong mahusay naman ito in any given acting assignment?
Ipagpalagay nating isang must-obey ang order na ‘yon, how would the lady director explain ‘yung pagbabawal niyang makipag-usap si Kathryn sa iba niyang co-actors?
Shouldn’t bonding among the cast members an avenue para magkaroon sila ng camaraderie, thus magkaroon ng magandang working relationship?
Ikakatwiran ba ni direk Cathy na kanya-kanyang style lang ng pagdidirek ‘yan, that even her temper tantrums punctuated with crisp expletives ay istilo rin niya to bring out the best in her artists?
Ang OA, ha?! Wala ‘yan sa pagpapahintulot gumamit ng cellphone o hindi. Neither would Cathy see her goal achieved by banning bonding moments on the set.
Kung magaling ka talagang direktor, magaling ka. No such motivational stunts are deemed necessary.
