Incoming mayor Isko iimbestigahan ang mga pagkaing natagpuan sa hukay sa Boystown

NADISKUBRE ang isang 10-talampakang hukay na puno ng mga pagkain sa loob ng kontrobersiyal na pasilidad para sa mga inabandonang bata at matatanda na ayon kay Manila Mayor-elect Isko Moreno Domagoso ay naglalayong isabotahe ang kanyang administrasyon.

Sinabi ni Domagoso na natagpuang nakalibing ang bigas, kape, asuka, noodles, oatmeal at tsokolate sa kabila naman na hindi pa expired ang mga ito.

“The food stuff was not spoiled,” sabi ni Domagoso, na tumalo ng landslide kay outgoing Mayor Joseph Estrada.

“These are still fit to eat and could still benefit children and the elderly living in Boystown and who have nothing to eat,” dagdag pa kay Domagoso.

“This is clearly an attempt to sabotage the city government of Manila,” ayon Domagso.

Nagsagawa ng inspeksyon si Domagoso sa sinasabing hukay matapos namang maging viral ang pagtatapon ng mga pagkain.

“These are government property,” Domagoso said. “If they would be thrown away, the head of the center should be informed. This is clearly sabotage,” sabi ni Domagoso.

Nangako si Domagoso na iimbestigahan ang pangyayari kapag umupo na siya sa Hulyo.

“We will investigate this and bring the callous persons behind this plot to lay food to waste to justice. Don’t they know that many people are hungry? Didn’t they have pity on the situation of those who don’t have anything to eat?” dagdag ni Domagoso.
