TUMILAPON ang sinasakyang motor ni Gab Valenciano saka bumangga sa isang puno habang nakikipaglaban sa sinalihang motorcycle racing event kahapon.
Ang tinutukoy ni Gab ay ang 2019 Philippine Superbikes Championships na ginanap sa Batangas Racing Circuit sa Rosario, Batangas.
Ibinalita ng anak ni Gary Valenciano ang masaklap na pangyayari sa kanyang Instagram Story habang nasa ospital kung saan siya na-confine matapos ang aksidente.
Aniya, sa lakas daw ng impact ay tumilapon ang kanyang motor palabas ng racing track hanggang sa bumangga nga sa puno. Siniguro naman ni Gab na maayos na ang kalagayan niya at kasalukuyan nang nagpapagaling.
Narito ang ilang bahagi ng kanyang IG Story, “To those asking, I’m alright. Thank you. At the hospital and recovering with a sprained ankle and cervical sprain/spasms.
“Still waiting for the final assessment though. Another rider came out of nowhere and hit me from the rear, so I violently veered towards the barrier, flew accross a 10 ft drop and finally was stopped by hitting a tree,” aniya pa.
Ayon pa sa anak ni Gary V, aksidente ang nangyari na hindi maiiwasan lalo na sa isang racing competition.
“BUT that’s racing and it happens. Sometimes even worse. Can’t complain and I’m thankful to God for protecting me still.
“Thank you to the emergency crew who put in the work to make sure I was okay.
“Will be back for round 3 next month stronger than ever.”
“Prayers to another racer who had a terrible crash shortly after.
“He was unconscious and intubated. God be with you bro.”
Samantala, labis-labis naman ang pag-aalala ng non-showbiz girlfriend ni Gab na si Joann Santiago matapos malaman na naaksidente ang karelasyon.
Kitang-kita raw niya ang nangyari kay Gab at kung paano ito tumilapon habang nakikipagkarera. Buti na lang daw at hindi ito napuruhan.
“Thank God you’re whole and not a single fracture in your body was seen. Almost had a heart attack when you disappeared on the track,” ani Joann sa kanyang Instagram Story.
“Accidents do happen and I thank the Lord for protecting you and for sending you a guardian angel that saved you from serious damage with that kind of crash.
“It could have been worse. Love you, please get well very soon,” mensahe pa nito kay Gab.
