ANGEL LOCSIN AT JIMMY BONDOC
SINGER Jimmy Bondoc contradicted himself when he gave a not-so-subtle swipe at ABS-CBN.
Sabi ni Jimmy, “I am so excited to see the biggest tv network close down.”
When Angel Locsin reacted and said, “Let me be the one to break this news to you so you don’t have to make excuses. The network might not be perfect but for you to be happy about thousands of people losing their jobs is pure evil.
“Maybe you’re just having a bad day. I will pray for you,” agad-agad ang naging retort ni Jimmy who said, “Why would I be happy for loss of jobs? That is a false assumption. Kayo po ang nag-generalize, hindi ako.
“When a network (any network) closes, it can mean a change of management or ownership.
“Ibig po sabihin, deserving employees would probably be retained. Therefore, there is nothing in my post that connotes happiness over the termination of employees, but rather, the termination of the network’s system.”
Clearly, Jimmy’s INTELLECTUAL MEDIOCRITY is best at work here. He was praying for something and saying another thing.
When he wished that the network closes, it would mean loss of jobs for thousands of its employees, right?
No, Jimmy, you’re not a thinking animal. Masyado kang pa-relevant just to please your god. What’s nakakaloka was the pinagmulan ng rant ni Jimmy.
He lambasted ABS-CBN all because of an online post which said: “Bong Go not accompanied by family at Senate proclamation.”
“Napaka MALICIOUS ng abs cbn news. I will eagerly await your demise. Look at what this headline connotes.
“And look at what the real reason is. Your news section is nothing but a ___. Never mind. I eagerly await your extinction.”
With that, public opinion was very much against Jimmy.
“Nung nagge guest pa siya sa mga show ng ABS bakit di agad siya nagsalita so ibig sabihin kasi nag bebenefit pa siya at ngayong wala na siyang show, wala na ding pakinabang sa kanya ang ABS kaya ganyan na lang siya kabitter sa network.”
“Palibhasa La Ocean Deep na ang Jimmy Bondoc na yun.”
“Isang kanta lang napasikat kala nya haligi na sya ng show business!”
When nobody cared for Jimmy Bondoc’s MUNDANE existence in the past, it was ABS-CBN who plucked him from OBSCURITY and made him a regular of ASAP. The break opened more opportunities for him.
That is what he conveniently forgot in trying to please his gods.
