“This year’s festival offers a variety of films from family drama, horror, romantic comedy, love story to action,” ani Madonna Tarrayo, president ng Unitel Straight Shooters Production, na siya ring magsisilbing festival director.

“The Eternity Between Seconds” nina Yeng Constantino at TJ Trinidad, written and directed by Alec Figuracion; “Excure Me Po”, written and directed by Ronald Batallones, na pagbibidahan ni Elizabeth Oropesa, kasama sina Matt Daclan, Anna Luna, Angellie Sanoy, Chanel la Torre, Sunshine Teodoro, Rener Concepcion, Shandii Bacolod at marami pang iba; “Mga Mister Ni Rosario” starring Joross Gamboa and Kate Alejandrino.

Bida rito sina Glydel Mercado, Shy Carlos, Yayo Aguila, Mon Confiado at Kriz Martinez; “Hitboy” directed by Bor Ocampo at pinagbibidahan ng child star na si Adrian Cabido kasama sina Soliman Cruz at Rosanna Roces; “Gusto Kita With All My Hypothalamus” kasama sina Nicco Manalo, Dylan Ray Talon, Soliman Cruz at Anthony Falcon. This is written and directed by Dwein Baltazar.

Ang panghuling entry ay ang “Mata Tapang” (Brave) written and directed by Rod Marmol. Bida rito si Edgar Allan Guzman, kasama sina Aaron Villaflor, Jerald Napoles, Ritz Azul at Migs Almendras.

“We have five new filmmakers and three who have done feature-length films in other festivals. With this line up you can expect a rollercoaster of emotions in every frame,” sabi pa ni Ms. Madonna Tarrayo.

“Kwento ang hari” is the belief that CFFF has always followed and imbibed in all of its efforts. This has definitely been noticed by Filipinos and also by the international community.

Ayon naman kay Cignal TV President Jane Basas, “We have full confidence in the potential of these films. The festival will show not only feature length films but also short films and super shorts.”

Nagpasalamat din si Jane Basas sa Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) chaired by Liza Dino-Seguerra sa pakikipagtulungan sa kanila ngayong taon.

Sabi ni Tarrayo, “The FDCP has what they call a festival partnership programme which allows CFFF and the FDCP to collaborate in several projects.”

Indeed the Cine Filipino filmfest with the help of Cignal Entertainment and Unitel Productions, faces a promising future as it continues its mission to achieve great things in film.
