P155 dagdag suweldo hirit ng mga workers sa Central Visayas

HUMIRIT ng dagdag umento sa sahod ang may anim na labor groups sa Central Visayas, ayon sa Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board sa Cebu.

Cyril L. Ticao, DOLE Central Visayas director and chairman ng wage board sa rehiyon, humiling ang mga grupo ng P155.80-increase sa arawang minimum wage.
Ang mga grupo na humirit ng dagdag sahod ay ang Cebu Labor Coalition, Lonbisco Employees’ Organization, Metaphil Workers’ Union, Nuwhrain-Montebello chapter, NLM-Katipunan at Union Bank Employees Association.

Iba naman ang hirit ng  Associated Labor Unions-Trade Union Congress of the Philippines.  Hiling nito ay P120 dagdag sa minimum wage.

Samantala, ang mga manggagawa sa nonagriculture at agriculture establishments sa nasabi ring rehiyon  Central Visayas ay huling nakatanggap ng umento noong Marso 10 ng nakaraang taon.
Ayon kay Ticao, maaaring dinggin na ang petisyong ito dahil tapos na ang one year “prescriptive period” mula nang ibigay ang huling wage increase order.

Anya pagsasamahin ang hiling ng mga grupo at saka pag-aaralan.
Sisimulan ang public hearing sa Abril 12 sa Dumaguete City sa Negros Oriental, ayon pa sa opisyal. – Inquirer
