TEARY-EYED si Pia Wurtzbach when she finally achieved her dream to become a movie star after 16 years.
“‘Yung ini-aim ko noong mga panahon na ‘yon na nagdi-dream lang ako ng Miss Universe, artista na ako noong bata ako at gusto ko talagang magkaroon ng lead role at magkaroon ng movie, ganyan…So I can say that before Miss Universe, this was my first dream,” say niya sa kanyang lead role sa “My Perfect You”.
Pia plays a young and bubbly resort owner in “My Perfect You” where she’s paired with Gerald Anderson.
Puring-puri ni Pia ang kanyang leading man sa movie, “Gerald made everything easy because he’s very approachable. He’s such a gentleman. Now we understand why marami siyang nakaka-leading lady and lahat sila only have good things to say about him. He is really good.”
She was asked if she wants to work with other Kapamilya actors, “Mag-part two na lang kami (ni Gerald). Maganda kasi ‘yung nagpa-part two kasi ibig sabihin swerte yun ‘di ba?”
