RICHARD GOMEZ

WHY is Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez silent on the fake news issue against him recently?

At bakit nawala rin ang Twitter post niya about Queen Elizabeth II’s praise on President Rodrigo Duterte?

Richard shared an item titled “Queen Elizabeth: ‘Who Who Would Have Thought That One Day Philippines Will Get A Brave man Like Duterte?'” which was supposedly a report of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).

But enterprising netizens researched and found it was a fake news.

With that, ang daming kiyaw-kiyaw against Richard sa social media. Batikos ang inabot niya for supposedly not researching before sharing the said article.

“You’re using your influence to misinform. It’s 2018. Please fact-check before posting.”

“He should watch Fact or Fake ni @Joseph_Morong sa YouTube. Hehehehe.”
