P1M reward sa bomber sa Abra

Naglagay ng P1 milyong reward si Abra Rep. Joseph Bernos sa ulo ng nasa likod ng pambobomba sa bayan ng La Paz noong Huwebes.
Kasama si Bernos at kanyang misis na si La Paz Mayor Menchie Bernos sa nasugatan sa pagsabog ng granada.
“We need this person alive, so that we may know his motives and of those behind this unsuccessful attempt on our lives,” ani Bernos. “We are calling on our fellow Abreños and all people who may know the whereabouts of this person to help us in holding him responsible for the fear and terror he has sown, for those injured, and for the death of two brave policemen.”
Nanonood ang mga tao ng fireworks ng may maghagis ng granada sa stage. Pista noon ng La Paz.
Namatay sa insidente ang isa sa mga survivor sa Mamasapano incident—si PO3 Carlos Bocaig. Nangyari ang pagsabog tatlong taon matapos ang Mamasapano incident.
“It was a cowardly act,” ani Bernos. “It was, in my opinion, a deeply personal attack against me, my family, and my mandate as the Representative of the Lone District of Abra. The perpetrators — whoever they are — disrupted the reign of long-standing peace and order in our Province. I am enraged that you threatened me and my wife with two explosives, but you cannot bring us down in a time when the people are seeing and feeling the gradual progress and development in Abra.”
