Publiko hindi dapat mag-panic sa dengue vaccine-Palasyo

- December 04, 2017 - 02:31 PM

“The good news is people should not panic about the dengue vaccine. There is no danger with the dengue vaccine. What Sanofi, the manufacturer, revealed is that new studies indicate that for those who already had contact with dengue — and that’s nine out of 10 Filipinos — the dengue vaccine is in fact very effective in protecting the patient from another attack of dengue,” sabi ni Roque.

“The only new finding that they have is that for the one person out of 10 who’s not had dengue, chances are after three years, he may still be afflicted with dengue which was classified as severe dengue,” paliwanag pa ni Roque.

“Kasi the risk, sabi nga nila, is amongst those recipient ng dengue vaccine na hindi pa nagkaka-dengue. We do not have any problem at all with those recipients na nagka-dengue na before at nabakunahan.

“We are open to any investigation na gustong gawin po ng — anybody who would want to really investigate, kung may iba pang naging problema dito sa dengue vaccine immunization program,” giit ni Suy.
