NA-INSPIRE si Solenn Heussaff sa open letter ni Maine Mendoza kaya naman nakapagsulat siya sa blog niyang solenn.ph ng tungkol sa loveteams sa showbiz na may title na, “Where’s the Love for the Love Team?”
“A love team: Actors who are set up together and marketed as a couple,” simula ng sinulat ni Sos. Nang pumasok sa showbiz, walang ineretong ka-loveteam sa Kapuso actress.
Saad pa niya, sa nakausap niyang kaibigan sa showbiz na nagkaroon ng ka-partner on screen, mahirap daw sa panig ng isang artista ang magkaroon ng ka-loveteam.
“Before actors are coupled in a love team, they’re actors first. That’s their job. And as an actor, you want to be able to do different kinds of roles. You want to act with different people, because you learn from every new person you act with.
“But when you’re love team is too strong and you get a job where you have to act with someone else or you have to be the love interest of a different person, someone gets attacked. Mean things are said to the actors involved especially in social media.
“Sometimes, it even gets to the point when the actors in the love team lose a sense of who they are, because they’re tryin so much to portray themselves as a couple both on screen (which is okay) and in real life (which is not okay) if it’s being forced on them),” bahagi ng sinulat ni Solenn.
Pinaalalahanan din ng Kapuso actress ang fans na tao rin ang mga artista. “They feel, get angry, dream and cry. They’re real people who are only doing their jobs,” rason niya.
Wala naman siyang harangin na tigilan na ang mga loveteam. Alam niyang nakakapagbigay sila ng insprasyon at kaligayahan sa fans.
“What I am saying is, let’s take a step back and see if we are really loving the love team we claim to love and support.
“Are we polluting social media with so many unnecessary attacks and hate? Why don’t we use it to share support and inspiration instead? We can also draw lines. Let’s love the couple on screen, but respect them as individuals off screen.
“We can love the work they do as actors, and still support their individual lives. Let’s make love teams what they’re supposed to be about. Love.”
Bumuhos ang maraming suporta mula sa celebrities sa open letter ni Maine, kabilang na nga riyan ang kabigan at kadabarkads niyang si Paolo Ballesteros na nagsabing okay ang ginawa ni Maine dahil para rin naman ito sa kanyang sariling kaligayahan.
Sabi nga ni Pao, “Lahat naman tayo ganu’n ang gusto sa buhay, kung saan tayo magiging masaya. Kung yun ang hinihiling niya sa mga fans niya, sana respetuhin na lang. Dapat lahat happy lang!”
Gayunpaman, tuloy pa rin ang buhay niya bilang artista. Wala nga lang siyang kapareha sa episode ng Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko this Sunday.
Same thing kay Alden Richards na si Odette Khan naman ang makakasama sa Dear Uge pero hindi bilang lovers, huh!
