Cris Joven asinta ang korona sa LBC Ronda Pilipinas

MATAGAL na panahon nang kinukunsidera bilang contender si Cris Joven sa LBC Ronda Pilipinas subalit hindi pa nagwawagi.
Kung kaya naman sa taong ito ay inaasahang gagawin nito ang lahat upang masungkit ang pinakamimithing korona.
Pamumunuan ni Joven Team Army Kinetix Lab sa pagsikad ng LBC Ronda Pilipinas 2017 ngayong Linggo na magsisimula sa Vigan, Ilocos Sur at matatapos sa Marso 4 sa Iloilo City.
“I’ve always dreamed of winning the Ronda Pilipinas and I’ll give it my best to win it this year,” sabi ng 29-anyos na si Joven na mula sa Iriga, Camarines Sur.
Kakampi ni Joven sa koponan sina Alfie Catalan, Reynaldo Navarro, Alvin Benosa, Lord Anthony del Rosario, Mark Julius Bordeos, Marvin Tapic at ang papaangat na si Ronnilan Quita.
“We’ve prepared hard for this race and I’m confident we as a team will have a strong chance of figuring well here,” sabi ni Joven.
Nakataya ang kabuuang premyo na P1 milyon para sa tatanghaling kampeon mula sa presentor na LBC katulong ang MVP Sports Foundation, Petron, Mitsubishi, Versa.ph, Victory Liner, Maynilad, Standard Insurance, CCN, Bike Xtreme, NLEX, PhilCycling at 3Q Sports Event Management.
Ang ibang koponang sasabak sa Ronda ay ang Philippine Navy-Standard Insurance, Go for Gold, Bike Extreme, Ilocus Sur, Mindanao Sultan Kudarat, Iloilo, NCR RC Cola, Tarlac, Neopolitan, South Luzon at Team Zambales.
