Solo 2nd place target ng Rain or Shine Elasto Painters

Angelito Oredo - January 20, 2017 - 12:05 AM

Mga Laro Ngayon
(Cuneta Astrodome)
4:15 p.m. Meralco vs Rain or Shine
7 p.m. Blackwater vs Barangay Ginebra
Team Standings: San Miguel (8-1); Rain or Shine (5-3); GlobalPort (5-3); Blackwater (5-4); TNT (5-4); Phoenix (5-4); Barangay Ginebra (4-4); Alaska (4-4); Star (4-4); Mahindra (2-6); NLEX (2-7); Meralco (2-7)

“Big weekend for us playing teams ahead of us in the standings,” sabi ni Barangay Ginebra coach Tim Cone, na sunod na makakasagupa ng koponan ang Phoenix Petroleum Fuel Masters (5-4) sa Linggo.

“Blackwater is legit and playing great basketball. They are certainly a playoff team. They have real good younf players, and we’re going to play smart and tough basketball to beat them,” sabi pa ni Cone.

“We will be going all out for a win tomorrow versus Ginebra. A win tomorrow will put us in a good spot going into the playoffs,” sabi lamang ni Elite coach Leo Isaac, matapos maitala ang 103-100 upset win sa Alaska Aces noong Linggo.

“A test of character for our team coming off a loss that we could have won. Meralco is no pushover. They may be in the bottom but they always play hard. Its hard to play against a team with nothing to lose,” sabi ni Garcia.
