Pagbabalik ng death penalty umusad na

house of rep
“I think it is doable, nothing is impossible even under the heat of the sun,” ani Veloso ng tanungin kung matatapos ito ng Kamara hanggang sa Disyembre 14— ang huling araw ng sesyon.
“I think after listening to resource persons, we will consolidate the bills and then we will vote on it,” dagdag pa ni Veloso.
“We need immediate solutions to address illegal drugs and crimes and one way to resolve these problems is to restore the death penalty. I think before December, it is possible and feasible to pass the death penalty bill,” ani Barbers.
Against Crime and Corruption at Public Attorney’s Office.
“We staunchly believe in the deterrent effect of the Death Penalty Law. Let it therefore be restored and be fully implemented,” ani Dante Jimenez, pangulo ng VACC.“The VACC believes that if our national leaders are truly sincere in upholding justice for the poor victims of criminal acts, they should restore the Death Penalty law and push for its full and effective enforcement instead of allowing the law to become simply a convenient tool for political leverage.”
