PINATAWAN ng National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) ng one-game suspension ang apat na manlalaro kasunod nang mainit na laban ng magkaribal na San Beda at Letran na nauwi sa isang ‘basketbrawl’ nitong Biyernes.

Hindi makapaglalaro para sa Letran Knights sina Jerick Balanza, Marco Sario at Chrisantoni dela Peña kontra St.Benilde Blazers sa Martes habang si Red Lions Jun Bonsubre ay mauupo muna sa muling pakikipaghaharap sa Mapua Cardinals sa Huwebes matapos ang naging desisyon ni commissioner Andy Jao. Sa isang mas masusing pagsusuri, itinaas sa disqualifying foul mula unsportsmanlike foul ang hatol kay Balanza nang kanyang sikuhin sa mukha si Jomari Presbitero habang nasa isang dead-ball situation may pitong segundo na lang ang nalalabi sa laban na nagtapos sa panig ng San Beda, 83-71.
