ITINANGGI ni Pasig Mayor Robert Eusebio ang ulat na dumating si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na naka-motorsiklo sa Pasig City, ilang araw na ang nakalilipas, inalis ang kanyang helmet at sinampal siya.
Ito’y matapos kumalat sa social media na pinagalitan ni Duterte si Eusebio dahil sa malawakang problema ng droga sa lungsod.
“I was surprised with the rumors. Impossible. This is not true. There’s nothing to defend because these weren’t true. There’s nothing wrong talking about this to finally put an end to this,” sabi ni Eusebio.
Idinagdag ni Eusebio na hindi pa siya sanay na makarinig ng tsismis laban sa kanya.
Bukod sa umano’y pagbisita ni Duterte, kumalat din na sinuspinde sina Eusebio and Vice Mayor Iyo Caruncho Bernardo, kung saan pinalitan umano ang mayor ni 1st District Councilor Vico Sotto, anak ng sikat na komedyante at host ng Eat Bulaga na si Vic Sotto.
“It’s disturbing. I and Mayor Eusebio have been in office for only a month, and there are already rumors like these. There’s no reason to believe the rumors. These are not true,” sabi ni Sotto, na taga oposisyon.
