“Despite the separation of powers, such very good suggestion from the President should always be supported by elected public officials. I am fine with that,” ani Alvarez.
“My role is to create a smooth flow of programs through legislation between Malacanang and the House of Representatives for the benefit and interest of the people.”
“Now is the time to eliminate any self entitlement in the government,” ani Alvarez.
Feliciano Belmonte Jr.
“By all means we should do that because we are public servants that should observe simplicity and always make ourselves available to the people,” ani Belmonte.
Rodolfo Farinas.
“In my 36 years in the government service from (Laoag) city mayor, (Ilocos Norte) governor or congressman, I’ve never used the word ‘Honorable’ as my title. Even in the US (United States) Congress, members are simply addressed as mister or miss. I’ll recommend same to the Speaker,” dagdag pa ni Fariñas.
