HINIMOK ni Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV ang administrasyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na i-sequester ang “Hacienda Binay” sa Batangas at gawin itong drug rehabilitation and treatment facility.
Sinabi ni Trillanes na angkop na angkot ang 350 ektaryang lupain na pag-aari umano ni Vice President Jejomar Binay.
“During the hearings conducted by the Senate on the anomalies involving then VP Binay, it was raised that the 350-hectare farm, allegedly owned by VP Binay, was illegally acquired and violated the agrarian reform law,” sabi ni Trillanes.
Idinagdag ni Trillanes na dapat na agad kumilos ang administrasyon para ma-sequester ang pag-aari ng mga Binay.
Sinabi pa ni Trillanes na malaki ang maitutulong ng lugar sa kampanya ni Duterte kontra droga.
“There are thousands of self-confessed drug dependents who have surrendered to the authorities, but, aside from monitoring, the government has yet to implement a concrete program to ensure that these drug users will not return to their old ways. We do not have a concrete plan, as well as facilities, to rehabilitate them,” ayon pa kay Trillanes.
