S expected, binatikos ng netizens ang viral photos ni Kris Aquino kung saan makikita ang paggamit niya ng presidential chopper para raw sa Liberal Party campaign rally sa Argao, Cebu.
Ang caption sa isang kumalat na litrato, “Mga Kapal ang Mukha. Ito ang pic kahapon ng dumating cla cris aquino sa dalaguete, mapamura kayo sa galit hanip government property ginagamit sa pangampanya.”
Sinubukang hingan ng pahayag si Kris tungkol dito pero hindi siya sumagot at marahil ay ayaw na lang niyang patulan ang isyung ito na ikaka-stress lang niya.
Si Presidential Communications Operations Sec. Herminio Coloma, Jr. ang sumagot sa mga paratang ng netizens kay Kris sa pamamagitan ng text message, anito, “Members of the President’s immediate family are allowed to ride with him in official government vehicles.”
Ayon naman sa report ng Pep.ph ang mga larawan daw ay hindi kuha sa Dalaguete, Cebu, kundi sa San Carlos City, Negros Occidental. Hindi raw campaign rally ang ipinunta ni Kris sa San Carlos City kundi ang inauguration ng 59-megawatt Solar Power Plant sa Negros Occidental. Isinama raw ni Pangulong Noynoy Aquino doon ang kapatid.
Ayon naman sa ulat memebuster.net, “Regarding the choppers, two of those were decoys and the other two were private choppers. The first family sat ONLY on one of those and that’s a PSG protocol.
“From San Carlos, the choppers flew to Dalaguete and then the LP traveled on road to Argao, Cebu.
“President Aquino and Kris Aquino are allowed to use the choppers because the 250th (Presidential) Airlift Wing of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) has the mandate of providing safe and efficient air transport for the President of the Philippines and the First Family.
“On occasion, the wing has also been tasked to provide transportation for other members of government, visiting heads of state, and other state guests.”
Kinumusta namin si Kris kahapon at ang sabi lang niya, “Hello from Pampanga going to Bulacan later.”
